Each year the Australian Society of Anaesthetists conducts a National Scientific Conference (NSC) for the benefit of its members and the anaesthetic profession.
The event provides delegates with a prime opportunity to build networks and update their knowledge and skills enabling them to remain leaders in a competitive field.
To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists, throughout 2024 we’re also recognising the hard work of the practitioners in our field through a number of events across Australia.

More events and details will be published soon. Details will also be available on how our State and Territory partners will be celebrating our 90th Anniversary. If you would like to participate and host an event, please get in touch to coordinate with the ASA on holding an event.

Established in 1934, the Australian Society of Anaesthetists is a peak not-for-profit representative body of anaesthesia in Australia.

ASA acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to the elders past and present and extend that respect to all other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
